OBHR picked up five dogs from a breeder and whisked them away to Cincinnati to be vetted. There are a breeding pair and three offspring that were all kept outside in a kennel area. When picked up all were filthy, covered in fleas, underweight and smelled terrible. Wimpy is a 2 1/2 year old male from the same litter. He has floating patellas, needs a dental, has an ear infection and many scrapes and bruises, possibly from the other dogs but maybe from another source. Whimpy  is a happy, friendly boy who loves everyone he meets, immediately rolling over for a belly rub when he meets a new friend and trying to crawl in their lap. He seems to have a special spot for children, and gets along with other dogs unless toys are involved. He walks well on a leash and loves to play. He still has a few puppy behaviors, as he hasnt met a shoe that he doesnt feel the need to take for a walk with him. He doesnt chew them up, just likes to move them around. Whimpy is anxious to find his forever home and with a little training that any young dog would need will make someone a great companion.
