Meet Louie! He is almost 4 years old and looking for a new home. He was adopted out twice so we will be picky on Louie’s next home! 
Louie can be a sweet boy who will snuggle up right night to you, but if he chooses to sleep away from you it is best to leave him be and he does not like to be woken up from sleeping and startles easily. He is crate trained and loves his, crate. Once he knows the routine he knows when it’s time to go in and lay down. He loves to go on walks, his foster is working on him to keep from pulling a lot on his leash. He loves walking no matter the weather he is happy to go out! He loves the outdoors any way he can get it and will need a fenced in yard. Louie is good out in public meeting people and other dogs. Louie can be possessive of toy and treats and will growl, but his foster is working on that as well and has said it’s been nothing physical. 
Due to his possessive issues and his snapping when being startled or woken up Louie must go to a home with no young kids, including regular visiting kids and grandkids. We will not set him up to fail. Louie is good with other dogs, we would not recommend a home with cats. His new owners will need to be able to help continue giving Louie and training and boundaries he is learning in his foster home. Louie is house trained and his adoption fee is $250.
