Little Joplin who's a 7 yr old red & white female was rescued from a high kill shelter in Ross county. She thought her days of singing the hound dog blues were finally over, but there was more bad news to come. A large tumor was discovered on her spleen which had to be removed immediately. She underwent surgery which required the removal of both the tumor and spleen. This didn't get Joplin down, she was happy to have a new start at life and to have some TLC from the vet staff. Joplin is still recovering in the vet hospital. She will be ready to go into a home where she can relax and recover soon, but for now she requires close monitoring. Her surgery and continued care is very costly. If you can please help Joplin by sending in a kind donation she will be up and singing a new tune soon!
