Jagger was found as a stray at approx. 6 months old. The people who found him said he would go lame in his front leg. After about 3 weeks he showed signs of this. He was taken to the vet and had to have elbow dysplasia surgery on his left front leg. He then got kennel cough that turned into pneumonia. When they did the chest x-ray they have discovered he also has pulmonary fibrosis. I then took him to a specialist to make sure all x-rays were read correctly and the specialist says his leg looks real good and is working as good as expected but he now needs surgery on his right front leg. He said he has arthritis so bad in his legs he has never seen any thing like it before on a dog so young. They are doing chest x-rays again next week to check on the pneumonia and to check on the pulmonary fibrosis to make sure that is what they were seeing. 2 vets say he has it and 1 says he does not.

Jagger has the best personality and everybody at both vets just loved him. He is such a sweetie. He just rolls over for belly rubs. The  picture of Jagger is him on his ramp because he can not do steps.
Jagger had his 2nd surgery on his other leg 3 weeks ago. We just went to the vet for a check up. The Dr says it is as good as it is going to get. Both legs had the same problem with the elbow displasia. All the bones in the elbow do not match up because of his bone growth. His elbows are bone to bone and he is on alot of meds. He seems happy and plays but after about 1 hr he has had enough and just lays down. He loves to cuddle in bed but I have to keep an eye on him so he does not jump down off the bed with the rest of the dogs. That alone keeps me busy :) Thank you to everybody who has emailed me about him and made donations. Jagger appreciates it!! Eva and Jagger
