Carlos is a beautiful approximate 5yo tricolor. He was the stud dog that lived with 3 other females out in a pen with no food or water. The breeder did not know his name. The girls Bree and Celia have already been adopted. When he was put in the car he was scared as the breeder said they had never been in a car. He was vetted, went to a foster home and had thought his luck had changed. He was so happy running with the other dogs and playing. Then one day he lost feeling in his back legs. This did not slow him down as he stilled pulled himself through the doggie door. He was taken to an emergency vet where a CAT scan was performed which led to back surgery for a herniated disc. During this time he stopped eating. From the pictures you can see how thin he is. The vet tried everything, including several different kinds of hard and soft food. He is now eating a combination of chicken and rice and has been successfully keeping it down. The vet bills have reached in the thousands of dollars, so much so that we can no longer afford to take in other dogs in need. In order to continue Carlos's hospitalization, we need help NOW. Can you please find it in your heart to help us? Any donation will go towards Carlos's current and future vet bills. This little guy was sooo close to feeling the love and happiness he deserves. Lets get him healthy enough to continue with his journey.
