Sadie is a petite, four year old tri-color BEAUTY who was released with her friend Buddy. Their family said they couldn't afford to care for them and sadly that appears to have been the truth. Neither dog had vaccination history beyond their puppy years and had to be treated for an assortment of worms and ear infections. Sadie was also diagnosed with heartworm disease and her treatment is now complete. All that's required is one last blood test done six weeks after her last treatment.
Sadie’s nickname at her foster home is “The Undercover Lover” because she can often be found napping with her entire body under a blanket. Sadie is housebroken, friendly with kids, cats and other dogs. She is a very sweet dog who is very active and playful, but also loves to cuddle on the couch with you. She loves taking walks and is wonderful in the car and during baths. She would do well in a home with a family who has a fenced yard and someone who could keep her entertained, taking her on walks, car rides and other exciting adventures. Sadie is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped and on a flea preventative. This sweet girl has gotten a chance at a new beginning and would really LOVE the opportunity to show you how sweet and fun Basset Hounds are!
