Murphy is a 12 yr old tri color male who was sadly found in his home with his friends Lark and Lizzie after their care taker passed away. They managed to survive by knocking over a bag of dog food left on the kitchen table until they were rescued more than a week later. If that ordeal wasn't sad and heart breaking enough, Murphy and his two friends, had to live in the shelter for a month until all legal proceedings were handled. Murphy is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped and on a flea/heart worm preventative. Murphy although is still very sad about what happened, he would like a chance with a family who can help him heal and move on. Can you help Murphy find the peace and love he needs?

Murphy is a gentle soul looking for a warm spot to lay his tired bones. Murphy likes to lay in a quiet spot away from the hustle and bustle. Murphy has a grade 4/6 heart murmur. He is looking for a kindred spirit, a gentle soul, who will not mind a dog who just wants a warm bed, good food and to feel wanted, not for play but just companionship. He is a very sweet guy, who always seems so grateful. He gets around fine and is housebroken.
