Lacey is the mother of Samantha, who came into rescue together. Lacey is 8 years old and 38 lbs. Both girls are the sweetest dogs you will ever find. They are gentle, calm and just sit next to you longing for a hug. She is spayed, UTD with shots and microchipped. Lacey had a nice warm bath, nail trimmed and ears cleaned and it feeling like a new woman! She is bonded to her daughter, Samantha, who we would prefer be adopted together. Lacey deserves the comfort of a warm, soft bed rather than the floor of a barn, where she has lived her whole life. Give these girls a chance for a better life.Samantha came into rescue with her mother, Lacey. Both girls were an owner give-up because they didn't have time for them. Both Samantha and Lacey lived their lives in a barn, were never bathed or nails trimmed! The neighbor was taking food to the barn because the previous owner wasn't feeding them. Poor girls! They deserve better. Samantha is 5 years old, spayed, UTD with shots and microchipped. Since they are so bonded together we would like to have them adopted together if possible

Update 9/23/10

This dynamic duo is a foster mom's dream team! If your heart is big enough to enclose 2 dogs at once this is the couple. They are absolutely the sweetest gals around. Lacey, the mom, loves lots of attention when given to her. Sammy, her daughter, is cautious due to lack of early socialization, but is won over easily. Neither clamor for attention due to their prior life of not getting any. They are quiet and easy going. You will rarely see one without the other. Attempts to get individual pictures were unsuccessful to say the least. Having both of them, you would not have to feel guilty leaving them for work as they are always a comfort, pillow and warm beating heart for each other. They are also quite adapt at arranging room for each other on your lap if invited!
