Oliver is a 8 year old neutered male, just under fifty pounds, up to date on all vaccines, Heartguard and Frontline. He was adopted two years ago from OBR and was returned due to the family having personal and financial difficulties that forced them to give him up. This poor dog lost his home, but has quickly adapted to his return to his foster home. Ollie is a fantastic dog who is still seeking that forever family to call his own. He is a very people oriented dog and loves to lay at your feet. He follows you anytime you move from room to room. Oliver has very good manners, is a quiet dog and very loving. He would love to be someones shadow and best friend. If you are looking for a devoted companion Ollie will be there for you.

Ollie is still waiting on that special someone to want him. He is a very good boy and would love to be able to show someone how much he could love them. He lived in a home with small children at one point and is very good with kids. He does well with other dogs of all sizes. Ollie is a mature dog and is not rowdy or loud. He loves to go for walks and patrol the yard. He thinks that maybe because he is a little taller that people just pass him by so he wanted to let you know some of the perks of being taller for him and you. If you like early morning walks while there is still dew on the ground, well no wet belly to clean when you come home. Like to walk in the snow? guess what - no snow covered belly to dry when you go in. Don't like to bend so far to pet your pup? well he is closer to your hand! Have high steps to go up? Well he says he can beat any of those belly dragging short-legged bassets into the house any day of the week! And the best reason of all? Well those legs are just full of more love to give than your average leg basset. :)
