Glenda is 5 years old and will be happy to be your best friend, or an only child to a couple! She is in foster care with other dogs, and will play when she gets used to them, but she likes to focus on what the humans are doing and prefers to stay close. Glenda has currently started taking phenabarb for seizures of unknown origin, but is being monitored and doing well. The meds are about $15 a month. A fenced yard is a requirement for this girl, she is fast, and really picks up speed when she sees a squirrel, bird, or anything moving! Glenda is house broken, crate trained, and enjoys toys and nylabones more than you can imagine. Like the majority of bassets she is long enough to do a little counter surfing, but will listen when you tell her "down." Glenda would be best suited in a home that doesn't have a hectic schedule. She is used to her foster mom being home, except for a few hours for errands. Glenda is current on all vetting, microchipped, and being fostered in Stark County.
