Bandit is one of a kind dignified gentleman.  He doesn't get along with other dogs unless they are small and meek.  He gets along fine with my 30 lb.  Affenpinscher mix.  They are kind of like brothers, they vie for attention at home but at the groomers they worry about the other one when he is worked on.  He will need a dog door or frequent walks.  On walks he is either a boulder or a race horse depending on where his nose leads him.  He has several small fatty tumors.  A large one turned out to be a cyst that opened and drained and is still healing.  He enjoys being brushed for short periods.  He is affectionate and can predict your routine and be in front of the doorway you will be going to next, hoping for a belly rub.  At first I had to put broth on his dry food but now he eats Nutrish dry food without the added broth.  He loves his soft treats and apple fritters which have to be kept on top of the refrigerator to prevent counter surfing.
